The all new Sig Sauer M17 is a civilian version on the U.S. Army's new M17 pistol. Having successfully passed the most rigorous and highly competitive review process of military firearms in history, the Sig M17 was awarded the Modular Handgun System (MHS) contract for the U.S. Army. Built on a P320-based platform, Sig's M17 offers unique modularity, uncompromising performance and unmatched capability. Every Sig M17 is a 9mm, striker fired pistol the closely follows the U.S. Army's M17 specifications. Sig ships each M17 with one 17 round magazine and two 21 round magazines or three 10 round magazines, and each is equipped with a SigLite front night sight and removable night sight rear plate. Additionally, this M17 is outfitted with a coyote tan PVD coated stainless steel slide is compatible with the ROMEO-17 red dot optic, and features a coyote-tan carry-length grip module and a choice of a manual safety.
