Originally created as a breacher shotgun, to deliver a reliable suppressed option for tactical situations, once Genesis tested the shotgun they found it was capable of so much more! With its 100 yard accuracy and effective patterning with buckshot similar to a 10.5 inch barrel shotgun the designers decides to make the Gen 12 PDS a shoulder-fired weapon that can switch easily between breaching and more precise shooting.
